  1. I also interviewed with the VA about 5 years ago. They're the government and a massive bureaucracy. It's not personal.

  2. If the position becomes available, re-apply. And copy as many words from the job description as possible without it being ridiculous. The people who review these resumes are HR idiots, and they don't understand synonyms. I'm serious. I used to work for the federal government (NOT in an HR capacity).
